This policy explains what information The Food Hub handles when you visit this website, how it is used, and the choices you have.

01. Who we are

This website is operated by The Food Hub, Gujranwala. Our restaurants are located at:

  • The Food Hub — DC Colony: Plaza no. 80, Neelam Commercial Roundabout, opposite Modern Cutt, DC Colony, Gujranwala. Phone: 0328 1939305.
  • The Food Hub — Royal Palm City: Plaza no. 69, Main Commercial Market, Royal Palm City, Gujranwala. Phone: 0327 8020088.

The website is designed and maintained on our behalf by Devscape Digital, who act as our service provider for website matters. You can reach the team responsible for this website and privacy questions at [email protected].

This policy covers this website only. The Food Hub mobile app is a separate service with its own privacy notice, shown on its Google Play and App Store listings.

02. Information we collect

Information you give us. This website has no account or login, no contact form, no reservation form, and no newsletter sign-up. There is nothing on this site for you to fill in, so we collect no name, email address, phone number, or message through it. If you call one of our branches, message us on social media, or use the mobile app, you share information with us through that channel rather than through this website.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider and the services that deliver this site automatically record basic technical data when you visit — for example your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. This data is used for security, troubleshooting, and understanding aggregate traffic, and is not used to build a profile of you.

What we do not collect here. This website does not take payments, and does not ask for financial information, government ID numbers, or any special categories of personal data.

03. How we use your information

We use the technical information described above to:

  • operate, maintain, secure, and improve this website and diagnose technical problems;
  • understand in aggregate how many people visit the site and which pages they reach;
  • protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorised use of the site; and
  • comply with legal obligations that apply to us and respond to lawful requests from public authorities.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making, advertising, or marketing.

05. How we share information

We share information only in these situations:

  • With service providers who help us host and run the website on our instructions — see the next section for the specific services involved.
  • Between our restaurant team and Devscape Digital, where it is needed to keep the site running.
  • For legal reasons, if we are required to disclose information by law, court order, or a valid request from a competent authority, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
  • In a business transfer, if the restaurant or its assets are reorganised, sold, or transferred, in which case information may pass to the new owner under the terms of this policy.

06. Third-party services we rely on

We keep third-party services to a minimum. The ones that may process data when you use this site are:

  • Web hosting. This site is served by a third-party hosting and content-delivery provider, whose servers process technical connection data (such as your IP address) to deliver the pages to you and to keep the service secure.
  • Google Fonts. This site loads a web font from Google’s font service. Your browser requests that file directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address and basic request information when a page loads. Google describes how it handles this in its own privacy policy.

Our social media profiles are hosted by Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, and our mobile app is distributed through Google Play and the App Store. Following a link to those places takes you to those platforms, which handle your data under their own privacy policies.

07. Cookies and tracking

This website does not set its own advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or cross-site tracking tools. Your browser may store a small amount of data locally to support basic site functionality. If we add analytics or other cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

08. How long we keep your information

Because this website collects nothing you enter, there is no enquiry or contact record for us to keep. Automatically collected technical logs held by our hosting provider are typically retained for a short period and then deleted or anonymised. If you contact us by phone, social media, or the app, we keep that correspondence only for as long as needed to deal with it and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records and to meet legal requirements.

09. How we protect your information

This site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we rely on reputable service providers with their own security measures. Holding no submitted information on this site also limits what could be exposed. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect information and to address any incident promptly.

10. Your rights and choices

You can ask us to access, correct, update, or delete personal information you have given us, or ask us to stop contacting you. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within a reasonable time. If a data-protection authority has jurisdiction over your information, you also have the right to complain to it.

Because this website collects nothing you type, browsing it does not give us anything about you beyond the technical connection data described above. Any request about information you shared by phone, social media, or the app should mention which of those channels you used, so we can find it.

11. Children's privacy

This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. International data transfers

We are based in Pakistan. Some of the service providers described above operate servers outside Pakistan, which means technical data about your visit may be processed in other countries whose data protection laws differ from those in your location. Where we rely on such providers, we choose established services and use them only to the extent needed to run the website.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices, the services we use, or the law. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site. Please review this page periodically.
